- They seat you at the end of the conference table and seat themselves at the far other end.
- They tell you that "you need to get to know their students, not just their statistics."
- When you ask them what their challenges are as administrators, they say "the majority of [our] problem is teachers that come in with low expectations..."
- They read your resume and say, "Do you have any public school experience" with a slight emphasis on public...and a tiny beat right before, as in Do you have any ... public school experience?
- They read your resume and say, "So, you've been working in retail for three years" again with that tiny beat and slight emphasis, as in So, you've been working in ... retail ... for three years.
- They tell you at the end of the interview that you should keep looking, and that the right fit will come along.

thanks! I've been away from computers and internet for a while...we traveled a bit during the husband's summer break...and am now 1) unpacking, 2) getting ready for the Lord's Day tomorrow, and 3) getting back on the job hunt treadmill on Monday.
